Salford is a digitally enabled city where healthcare and academic professionals work together with Salford City Council in an integrated and collaborative way for the benefit for the community and for the advancement of technology.

This film’s theme will showcase how robotics supports Social Care and Independent Living.

Lead by Professor Samia Nefti-Mezani from the University of Salford and involving UKRAS Network partners, this short video set to music will highlights the incredible impact that robotics is having in helping people live independently, the integration between robots and healthcare professionals and the resulting benefits for all involved.

Although it’s early stages, partners are being sort to work on the project and the film will be showcased at the UK RAS event in June.
